What is Inventiva?

Non-profit association of families with creative and/or gifted children or with any type of talent or learning concern.

Why to create an association?

  • Advantages in resources and economics: Training courses, agreements, participation and development of projects, alliances with other associations.
  • Human advantages: Avoid situations of loneliness or isolation, share problems and experiences, learning from the mistakes of others, establish contacts with other associates.
  • Advantages of action (doing it all together): Undertaking joint actions and projects, contact with possible interested agents.
  • Contact with reality: General advice, search for information on aid and financing, guide to attractive and creative projects, analysis of the environment (threats and opportunities).

What are our objectives?

  • Identification and assessment of needs to be able to adjust the educational response to them.

What do we do?

  • Advise, guide and assist the families of these children.
  • Promote and enhance the development of their skills in all children.
  • Cooperate with institutions of all types in addressing the needs of these children.
  • Organize and develop, where appropriate, all types of enrichment activities for all its members: promotion and dissemination of science and culture, organization of libraries, museums, organization of training courses, carrying out studies and publications, calling for prizes and competitions, the granting of prizes, scholarships and research grants, etc.
  • Organize leisure and free time activities that promote the social interaction of these children and their families.
  • Obtain from public and private institutions, individuals and legal entities whatever aid is necessary to achieve the goals of the Association.
  • Disseminate knowledge about high intellectual abilities through talks, conferences, information sessions, colloquiums, seminars, advertising or other means.
  • Establish learning groups with this type of children, with a comprehensive methodology of action that includes the enrichment of these children.
  • Arrange agreements or collaboration or exchange agreements with Universities, Associations and Companies, Research Centers and Public or Private Entities that promote or serve the purposes of this Association.

How do we finance ourselves?

    • Collaborating Partners
      • Technical or financial help.
      • Exempt from paying fees (without voting in the Assembly).
    • Individual Ordinary Members
      • Adult with talent, high capacity, giftedness or high intellectual concerns.
      • Fee*: €30/registration + €10/month (with vote in the Assembly).
    • Ordinary Family Members
      • Parents and siblings of children with talent, creativity, high ability or high intellectual concerns will belong to the association.
      • Fee*: €30/registration + €15/month (one vote per family).

Where do we carry out our activities?

We have an agreement with Escuela Universitaria Magisterio CEU de Vigo, thanks to which we can use their facilities (Estrada Vella de Madrid, 8, Sárdoma, 36214 Vigo, Pontevedra) for the development of our activities.
